Alex Korolkovas

Born in 1969, São Caetano do Sul (São Paulo); Korolkovas completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising at Metodista University of São Paulo; moved to California at the beginning of his photographer career in 1992 where he lived for the next ten years; studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena; worked as an assistant to several photographers (including Earl Miller – the renowned North-American Erotic Photographer). His return to Brasil was in 2002.
Having shot Ad campaigns for TVA, Playcenter, OESP, Nazca, Alumni, Harley-Davidson and Suzuki, to name a few; he was selected amongst the Top 10 new Fashion Talents at Fashion Week “Casa de Criadores” in 2004 and was nominated at the “Abril Award of Journalism” in the Photo Editorial category with his work for VIP magazine in 2006.
Shooting fashion for Reinaldo Lourenço, Glória Coelho, Cavalera, Carlota Joakina, Pedro Lourenço, Cecília Echenique, Bebesh, Acqua Studio, amongst others,
he currently collaborates with international publications such as MAXIM, MIXMAG, Nerve (NY) & Stern (Germany) and DP Photographer (Portugal)
